The project PROPOSAL FOR A PARTNERSHIP FOR RESEARCH AND INNOVATION IN THE MEDITERRANEAN AREA (PRIMA) was realized in 2016, for Innovation in the Mediterranean area.

The initiative aimed to develop the efficiency and sustainability of food production, as well as the quality and availability of water, so as to support, with innovative solutions, socio-economic development in the Mediterranean area.

The joint programme proposal involved the following countries: Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain, as well as the participating third countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey.
